I was at a restaurant today, I ordered for a plate of pounded yam and egusi soup. When the meal was served; I complained to the attendant that the meal will not satisfy my appetite. He smiled at me and said, “Sir, if you need more, you can request for another plate”.
I smiled back at him and joked, “I guess your suggestion is a promo (pay for one and get one free)”?.
This encounter reminded me of an important life lesson.
